It was started by black women but I can only see reblog tumblr tweets with the hash tag…I thought it was happening on Tumblr. 

IT was started by me and so_treu in direct relation to that video thing, irony on full blast. It’s being discussed on tumblr but we’re purposely sending it to twitter. I may have in my emotionality not mentioned that part but the only people who have been retweeting or asking questions of their own are black women .

About the noteworthy thing—yeah but you have to be clear about where shit is and tell people where things are and what to do…because a couple of us asked where is #askafeminist happening a few days ago. This has nothing to do with an invitation but to do with structure and communication. What is “that ‘video thing’ is, irony on full blast”?

I accept that . Feministing hosts a series of videos where you can ask a feminist ” IMPORTANT! questions. They are usually banal and very 101. Stealing the hashtag was mocking that idea that what we ask feminists instead of probing forward moving questions are trite crap and that they won’t answer deeper ones.
